1.LP 2IPMI over LAN problems involve a misconfiguration of the remote 3machine's BMC. Double check to make sure the following are configured 4properly in the remote machine's BMC: IP address, MAC address, subnet 5mask, username, user enablement, user privilege, password, LAN 6privilege, LAN enablement, and allowed authentication type(s). For 7IPMI 2.0 connections, double check to make sure the cipher suite 8privilege(s) and K_g key are configured properly. The 9.B ipmi-config(8) 10tool can be used to check and/or change these configuration 11settings. 12
