1Hackathon Moose (or other Ex-Magnificent-Forest-Creature) Barbecue
2
330 cups oil
415 cups Soy sauce
55 cups Worcestershire Sauce
640 tsp dry mustard
720 tsp black pepper
810 cups lemon juice
910 cups white vinegar
1080 cloves crushed garlic
11
12About 75 pounds of boneless meat (moose, deer, elk, beef - try chicken
13too). For reference this is roughly an entire large dressed (Alberta
14size) whitetail deer, with some moose and beef thrown in for good
15measure. I've never tried finding enough chickens for a hackathon.
16
17Mix all of the above together, and marinate meat for a few hours
18before grilling. Dribble marinade over meat while grilling. Also
19works well with vegetables on the grill, or meat and vegetable
20kebabs. The above proportions will require about 50 bell peppers and
2125 large onions to make decent kebabs (for a large family meal, divide
22everything by about 20, and leave out the drunk Germans providing the
23ambience while you grill).

25Hackathon Raisin Rice
26
2710 cups rice
285 Onions, chopped fine
2910 cloves garlic, crushed
30Butter
312.5 cups raisins
322.5 tsp oregano
3322 cups water
3440 chicken bouillon cubes (or equivalent - you want to make double
35 strength chicken stock - chicken-in-a-mug
36 works well made double strength).
37
38Saute Rice, onion and garlic in a little butter until slightly brown.
39I manage this in the (large) pot(s) necessary by throwing together
40the onion, garlic, and butter to brown up, then faking it a bit with
41the dry rice thrown in while threatening kitchen interlopers with
42sharp instruments if they come in to ask how it's going.
43Dissolve bouillon in water, add along with remaining ingredients.
44Cook until rice is done (for more intimate proportions, divide down
45to an appropriate amount of rice for your occasion).
