10     WWhhaattiiss looks up a given command and gives the header line from the manual
11     page.  You can then use the man(1) command to get more information.

13     The options are as follows:

15     --MM _p_a_t_h     Override the list of standard directories wwhhaattiiss searches for
16                 its database named ``_w_h_a_t_i_s._d_b''. The supplied _p_a_t_h must be a
17                 colon ``:'' separated list of directories.  This search path
18                 may also be set using the environment variable MANPATH.

20     --mm _p_a_t_h     Augment the list of standard directories wwhhaattiiss searches for
21                 its database named ``_w_h_a_t_i_s._d_b''. The supplied _p_a_t_h must be a
22                 colon ``:'' separated list of directories.  These directories
23                 will be searched before the standard directories or the
24                 directories supplied with the --MM option or the MANPATH
25                 environment variable are searched.

28     MANPATH  The standard search path used by man(1) may be overridden by
29              specifying a path in the MANPATH environment variable.
