22Note that this package is designed to run along with the adonthell
23game engine version 0.3.x. Therefore, you need it installed or you'll
24be stuck at configure time. If you don't have it, download it from
25http://adonthell.nongnu.org/download/.

31If the installation process is successfull, you're ready to play.
32You can play by invoking 'adonthell-0.3 wastesedge' but there is a
33little shell script named 'adonthell-wastesedge' that will do the work
34for you. See the PLAYING file for more detailed instructions.

40The main purpose of this release is to ensure that Adonthell -
41Waste's Edge can still be enjoyed on modern operating systems.
42We also have taken the opportunity to make some small additions
43to the game, such as an option screen and unlockable achievements,
44but the core of the game remains unchanged.

46Adonthell - Waste's Edge -, or v0.3 for short is no complete RPG.
47As the v0.3 implies, the engine is far from being finished, although
48it should be free of severe bugs. Missing features include combat,
49items and magic. But you can interact with NPC's and the game world,
50and the internals enable us to create a basic plot, so v0.3 is actually
51playable!
