NAME

tgwb - a shared vector-based drawing whiteboard, based on tgif, for collaborating over the Internet. ================================================================
SYNOPSIS

tgwb [-no-wb] [-no-chat] [-chatnick <nickname>] [<tgif-options>] ================================================================
DESCRIPTION

Tgwb is a shared vector-based drawing whiteboard, based on tgif(n), for collaborating over the Internet. ================================================================
OPTIONS

The command line arguments can be:

-no-wb Disable whiteboard.

-no-chat No chat window will be initially visible. The chat window can be made visible by selecting Show Chat in the Show/Hide submenu of the Layout Menu.

-chatnick <nickname> User's nickname will be set to <nickname>. This overrides the Tgif.ChatNickName X default.

All other commandline options (<tgif-options>) are treated as options for tgif(n). ================================================================

CHAT WINDOW

In addition to tgif's windows, tgwb has a Chat window which has a message display area and a toolbar on the bottom. The toolbar contains the following items (from left to right):

Auto-scroll Button If this button is depressed, the message display area will scroll automatically to the bottom when a new message entered by another user arrives.

Color Button Clicking with the left/right mouse button or dragging with the middle mouse button can change the user's chat color.

Bold Button If this button is depressed, bold font will be used.

Italic Button If this button is depressed, italic font will be used.

Edit Area This is where the user can enter a message to be sent. Pressing the <Enter> key has the same effect as clicking on the Send Button.

Send Button Click on this button sends the message in the Edit Area. ================================================================

X DEFAULTS

Tgif.NoChatWindow: [true,false] If set to ``true'', no Chat Window will be shown initially. The default is false.

Tgif.ChatNickName: STRING The STRING specifies a nickname to be used in chat. By default, the value of the USER environment variable is used as the user's nickname. The nickname specified here can be overridden by the -chatnick commandline option. ================================================================
