1Kamailio for Debian 2------------------- 3 4* init script check for fork=no 5------------------------------- 6 7The Kamailio init script will not start Kamailio on boot if fork=no is 8specified in the config file. The check in the initscript will match 9any occurrence of fork=no in the file, even inside C-style comments. 10 11You can disable this check in the init script if you wish; just comment 12out the calls to the check_fork function in the script. Your changes to 13the init script will be preserved upon upgrade, as the file is tagged 14as a conffile. 15 16 17* Kamailio setup 18---------------- 19 20To setup Kamailio, you need to: 21 - configure Kamailio properly to suit your needs 22 - edit /etc/default/kamailio, adjust the MEMORY parameter and set 23 RUN_KAMAILIO to "yes" 24 25If you are building an HA cluster using heartbeat or similar, you'll want 26to disable the init script by running: 27 28 update-rc.d kamailio remove 29 30so that Kamailio will not be launched at system startup. You still need 31to set RUN_KAMAILIO to "yes" if you want to use the /etc/init.d/kamailio init 32script. 33 34Set the DUMP_CORE parameter in /etc/default/kamailio to "yes" if you want to 35get a core dump in case Kamailio crashes. The debug symbols for Kamailio are 36provided by the kamailio-dbg package. 37 38 39 -- Victor Seva <linuxmaniac@torreviejawireless.org> Wed, 11 Dec 2013 16:07:11 +0100 40
