Chips were available for the 49SoundBlaster to make them compatible with CMS. 50.Pp 51The CMS cards are only capable of playing basic notes and noises, 52making them suitable for playing midi, but not much else. The output 53is stereo, but the 54.Nm 55driver doesn't support stereo control. The cards have external volume 56control, line-output and speaker. 57.Pp 58The base I/O port address is usually jumper-selected to 0x220.
