15Section one of the manual contains most of the commands
16which comprise the

18enviroment.
19These commands are text editors, command shells,
20searching and sorting tools,
21system status commands,
22communication tools (remote commands, mail),
23compilers and compiler tools,
24file manoevering commands, output formatting tools,
25printer commands and so on.

27All commands set a status value upon exit which may be tested
28to see if the command completed normally.
29The values and their meanings are explained in the individual
30manuals.  Traditionally, the value 0 signifies
31normal completetion of the command or success.
