1J/A+A/557/A19 Mass and age of extreme low-mass white dwarfs (Althaus+, 2013) 2================================================================================ 3New evolutionary sequences for extremely low-mass white dwarfs: Homogeneous mass 4and age determinations and asteroseismic prospects. 5 Althaus L.G., Miller Bertolami M.M., Corsico A.H. 6 <Astron. Astrophys. 557, A19 (2013)> 7 =2013A&A...557A..19A 8================================================================================ 9ADC_Keywords: Stars, white dwarf ; Models, evolutionary ; Stars, masses ; 10 Stars, ages ; Effective temperatures 11Keywords: white dwarfs - binaries: general - stars: evolution - 12 stars: oscillations - stars: interiors 13 14Abstract: 15 The number of detected extremely low mass (ELM) white dwarf stars has 16 increased drastically in recent year thanks to the results of many 17 surveys. In addition, some of these stars have been found to exhibit 18 pulsations, making them potential targets for asteroseismology. 19 20 We provide a fine and homogeneous grid of evolutionary sequences for 21 helium (He) core white dwarfs for the whole range of their expected 22 masses (0.15<~M_*_/M_{sun}_<~0.45), including the mass range for ELM 23 white dwarfs (M_*_/M_{sun}_<~0.20). The grid is appropriate for mass 24 and age determination of these stars, as well as to study their 25 adiatabic pulsational properties. 26 27 White dwarf sequences have been computed by performing full 28 evolutionary calculations that consider the main energy sources and 29 processes of chemical abundance changes during white dwarf evolution. 30 31Description: 32 In file elm.dat are data presented in the middle and lower panels of 33 Fig. 5 and 6. 34 35File Summary: 36-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 37 FileName Lrecl Records Explanations 38-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 39ReadMe 80 .
