2This directory contains tests for the 1076-1993 standard. It contains
3the following subdirectories:

5ad-hoc:
6 Containing tests collected from various sources. In general tests
7 in this subdirectory are one-off constructions that have been
8 made available for us to include in VESTs.

10ashenden:
11 Containing tests from The Designer's Guild to VHDL written by Peter
12 Ashenden and published by Morgan Kaufmann Publishers, Inc in 1996.

14billowitch:
15 Containing tests that were originally developed by Bill Billowitch
16 for the VHDL 1076-1987 language standard.
