1llvm-dis - LLVM disassembler 2============================ 3 4.. program:: llvm-dis 5 6SYNOPSIS 7-------- 8 9**llvm-dis** [*options*] [*filename*] 10 11DESCRIPTION 12----------- 13 14The **llvm-dis** command is the LLVM disassembler. It takes an LLVM 15bitcode file and converts it into human-readable LLVM assembly language. 16 17If filename is omitted or specified as ``-``, **llvm-dis** reads its 18input from standard input. 19 20If the input is being read from standard input, then **llvm-dis** 21will send its output to standard output by default. Otherwise, the 22output will be written to a file named after the input file, with 23a ``.ll`` suffix added (any existing ``.bc`` suffix will first be 24removed). You can override the choice of output file using the 25**-o** option. 26 27OPTIONS 28------- 29 30**-f** 31 32 Enable binary output on terminals. Normally, **llvm-dis** will refuse to 33 write raw bitcode output if the output stream is a terminal. With this option, 34 **llvm-dis** will write raw bitcode regardless of the output device. 35 36**-help** 37 38 Print a summary of command line options. 39 40**-o** *filename* 41 42 Specify the output file name. If *filename* is -, then the output is sent 43 to standard output. 44 45EXIT STATUS 46----------- 47 48If **llvm-dis** succeeds, it will exit with 0. Otherwise, if an error 49occurs, it will exit with a non-zero value. 50 51SEE ALSO 52-------- 53 54:manpage:`llvm-as(1)` 55
