2This is the soundserver as used by the original
3Linuxdoom release. I separated the source from
4the actual Linuxduum source. For various reasons
5the separate sound process seems to give the
6best results - both synchronous and timer driven
7output demonstrate glitches. These might either
8be timing issues, or introduced by the changes
9I made to the linux sound code while merging it
10back into the main tree.

12Note that neither John Carmack nor Dave Taylor
13are responsible for the current sound handling.
