6contributors and maintainers pledge to making participation in our
7project and our community a harassment-free experience for everyone,

33## Our Responsibilities

35Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of
36acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair
37corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

39Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit,
40or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other
41contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban
42temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they
43deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

47This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public
48spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community.
49Examples of representing a project or community include using an
50official project e-mail address, posting via an official social media
51account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or
52offline event. Representation of a project may be further defined and
53clarified by project maintainers.

55## Enforcement

57Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may
58be reported by contacting the project team at coreteam@mypaint.org. All
59complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a
60response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances.
61The project team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to
62the reporter of an incident.  Further details of specific enforcement
63policies may be posted separately.

65Project maintainers who do not follow or enforce the Code of Conduct in
66good faith may face temporary or permanent repercussions as determined
67by other members of the project's leadership.
