1Go generated proto packages 2=========================== 3 4[![GoDoc](https://godoc.org/google.golang.org/genproto?status.svg)](https://godoc.org/google.golang.org/genproto) 5 6``` 7go get google.golang.org/genproto/... 8``` 9 10> **IMPORTANT** This repository is currently experimental. The structure 11> of the contained packages is subject to change. Please see the original 12> source repositories (listed below) to find out the status of the each 13> protocol buffer's associated service. 14 15This repository contains the generated Go packages for common protocol buffer 16types, and the generated [gRPC][1] code necessary for interacting with Google's gRPC 17APIs. 18 19There are two sources for the proto files used in this repository: 20 211. [google/protobuf][2]: the code in the `protobuf` and `ptypes` subdirectories 22 is derived from this repo. The messages in `protobuf` are used to describe 23 protocol buffer messages themselves. The messages under `ptypes` define the 24 common well-known types. 252. [googleapis/googleapis][3]: the code in the `googleapis` is derived from this 26 repo. The packages here contain types specifically for interacting with Google 27 APIs. 28 29[1]: http://grpc.io 30[2]: https://github.com/google/protobuf/ 31[3]: https://github.com/googleapis/googleapis/ 32
