1# Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct 2 3## Our Pledge 4 5In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as 6contributors and maintainers pledge to making participation in our 7project and our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, 8regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity 9and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, 10race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation. 11 12## Our Standards 13 14Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive 15environment include: 16 17* Using welcoming and inclusive language 18* Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences 19* Gracefully accepting constructive criticism 20* Focusing on what is best for the community 21* Showing empathy towards other community members 22 23Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include: 24 25* The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual 26attention or advances 27* Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political 28attacks 29* Public or private harassment 30* Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or 31electronic address, without explicit permission 32* Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in 33a professional setting 34 35## Our Responsibilities 36 37Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of 38acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair 39corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable 40behavior. 41 42Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, 43or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other 44contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban 45temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that 46they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful. 47 48## Scope 49 50This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public 51spaces when an individual is representing the project or its 52community. Examples of representing a project or community include 53using an official project e-mail address, posting via an official 54social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an 55online or offline event. Representation of a project may be further 56defined and clarified by project maintainers. 57 58## Enforcement 59 60Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior 61may be reported by contacting the project team at 62isis@patternsinthevoid.net. The project team will review and 63investigate all complaints, and will respond in a way that it deems 64appropriate to the circumstances. The project team is obligated to 65maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an 66incident.
